Summary:
The Press Operator is responsible for the set up and efficient operation of sheet fed press, ensuring on-time, high quality and quantity production while leading the feeder.
Schedule:
3rd shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five or more days per week based on business needs.
Primary schedule will be 10:
00 PM - 6:
00 AM, or similar.

Setup, configure, and operate the sheet feed press to produce high quality print products Access the Batching System to view press schedule and identify priority jobs to be completed Examine job orders to determine the quantity to be printed, stock specifications, color(s) and special printing instructions Lead and direct assistant operator, including on the job training and mentor junior colleagues Ensure Press Crew prepares Press Machine for the next job once current job is complete Monitor Press Cycle and performance, ensuring optimum press performance and job quantity reporting along, with defect and quality checks Maintain and troubleshoot machine making basic repairs as needed according to schedule Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s) Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment Attend all department/company meetings Other duties as assigned For an extensive list of responsibilities, duties and physical demands/work environment please refer to the attached Job Description.
Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as Sheet Fed Press Operator (Komori preferred) Preferred High School Diploma or GED equivalency 4over Company History:
